Overview

Khustai nature reserve is two hour drive away from Ulaanbaatar, the capital and it is a homeland of wild horses, Takhi. Also there are dozens of wild animals as red deer, wolf, fox, marmot. You will find yourself in stunning beautiful landscape where you’ll have a chance to see these amazing creatures grazing in the mountains as you get out of your vehicle.

Day 1: In the morning we will hit the road to the nature reserve. When we get there you will get brief introduction to the area and its wildlife. After having a hearty lunch you will be taken into heart of the nature reserve where you will enjoy the quietness and breathtaking scenery of the park while seeing the Takhi and red deer. Also, you can witness the marmots playing around or fighting each other before we finish the day. Have fine dish with warm conversation and experience Mongolian summer night in traditional dwelling, ger.

Day 2: After fresh local breakfast you will take a horse riding in vast open steppe where you will find only your shadows, and maybe a herd of horses. After lunch we will head back to Ulaanbaatar.
