Overview
Mix & Match is a short tour that provides a lifetime opportunity to see and visit many sightseeing such as Terelj national park – amazing area with exotic rock formations, Khustai national park – land of wild horses, Chinggis khan statue – the giant statue which is located in a vast plain with 360 degree view of the surroundings, and many aspects as nomadic family stay in a short period of time. This itinerary takes you through variety of aspects as nomadic culture, wildlife, historical sites and contemporary life of modern city of Ulaanbaatar within just a couple of days.
Day 1: Nomadic Family Experience & Khustai Nature Reserve
Travel to a nomadic family, where you will be warmly welcomed into true Mongolian nomadic culture. Enjoy an authentic Mongolian lunch, then take part in everyday nomadic activities such as:

Herding livestock including horses, cattle, and sheep
In the afternoon, head into the heart of Khustai Nature Reserve, the homeland of the wild horse Takhi. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery while spotting Takhi, red deer, and other wildlife such as wolves, foxes, and marmots. Watch marmots playing or sparring as the day comes to an end.
In the evening, enjoy traditional Mongolian cuisine with warm conversation and experience a peaceful Mongolian summer night in a traditional ger.
Day 2: Chinggis Khan Statue & Terelj National Park
Early in the morning, depart for the Chinggis Khan Statue Complex. Along the way, stop to see vultures and golden eagles, hold them on your arm, and take memorable photos.
Arrive at the giant equestrian statue, located on a vast open plain with a stunning 360-degree panoramic view, and explore the statue complex.
At noon, continue to Terelj National Park for lunch. Afterward, explore the park’s highlights:

After lunch, drive back to Ulaanbaatar, concluding your unforgettable Mongolian adventure.
