Ulaanbaatar–Beijing Passenger Train Service Resumes After Five-Year Pause

Great news for international travelers and train enthusiasts: the Ulaanbaatar to Beijing passenger train service has officially resumed after a five-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Train No. 24 will operate weekly, departing Ulaanbaatar every Thursday at 7:18 AM and arriving in Beijing on Friday at 2:35 PM. For return travel, Train No. 22 will leave Beijing every Tuesday at 7:27 AM, reaching Ulaanbaatar on Wednesday at 2:35 PM.
